Why do they call you a Webmaster?

Sunday 14 January 2007 @ 9:32 pm

It’s been over 2 years since I started toying with the net. And it always puzzled me what a webmaster was.

But lately it has begun to dawn on me. There are so many things to do, that’s it’s just insane. My new definition of webmastery is mastering confusion and still managing to produce something.

So why do you think you are a webmaster?

Listible - a web 2.0 resource sharing site that’s cool

Friday 22 December 2006 @ 7:27 pm

I just found out about listible.com, which is a web 2.0 resource sharing site that rocks. It’s easy to use. Basically you can submit lists or add resources to other peoples lists of anything, on the web, such as Best Guitar Sites or Top Australian Web Directories, one that I made. Other people can add resources to your list and pretty soon you have a usable list that other people can find stuff with.

It’s all about information sharing and collaboration, but done in such a dead simple and clean interface that it’s a pleasure to use. The only downside will be combating the onslaught of link spam that is sure to hit, but there are moderator positions available.

You can check out listible here
