Hey I was feeling adventurous so I installed Thunderbird Email client Beta 2 from Mozilla.
It’s pretty cool. Very pretty, I think the tags are new. It just seems much cleaner and easier to read stuff and find stuff. My email inbox is crazy so I need something good and stable.
Thunderbird has always suited me. If you are feeling adventurous to check it out here.
Hi,
really I just want to test out embedding google video on my blog, but
this software does look pretty cool if you are into guitar and recording
your music.
Check out the video:
Business Software | Niche Software, guitar softwareWell your intrepid webmaster has once again stumbled upon a piece of programming simplicity, known as SimplePie. The name is obviously a derivative of Magpie RSS Parser, and the creators do not try to hide the fact that they have been inspired by efforts of those that have gone before.
Now I won’t tell you where I’m using it but I am a relative newbie to PHP, but getting better all the time and I quite easily managed to add two different feeds to a web site project that I’m working on. Both feeds side by side and all for free too.
That’s right, SimplePie is Open Source, which means you can use it right now.
I must confess, I also have another Feed Parser that I use, which also does a bangup job but this one seems to be comparable, even so far as supporting podcast and video feeds.
That reminds me, did I mention www.podcastdir.net, my podcast directory. It’s worth a look and if you are into podcasts at all, then definitely add your feed to that.
Yes, I am going to give SimplePie my allstar cool tool, stamp of approval. You can download SimplePie here
