Springbox Teams up with Feedburner for a cool Feed Widget

Sunday 25 February 2007 @ 2:40 pm

Many people now publish an rss feed, but Springbox has now teamed up with Feedburner to make this nifty widget which you can embed your feed on any site, including myspace.

It’s a snap to set up. Uses javascript. And looks really cool. I’ve pasted it into my MySpace profile as well and it looks awesome.

Edit: Only problem is not sure if it works on wordpress - seems not, but good for Typepad and Myspace. The links don’t seem to work. Oh well you get the idea.

Check PageRank at Multiple data centers.

Friday 23 February 2007 @ 2:49 pm

It’s always a good idea as a webmaster to stay ā€œup-to-dateā€ with your website statistics. Knowing these statistics can help increase your visitors and ultimately sales. One site that helps webmasters stay up-to-date with their statistics is http://www.smartpagerank.com.

Smart PageRank.com’s main feature is it’s ability to automaticly send an email to you if your PageRank has updated, so you’re not forced to check the statistics on a daily basis. The site also checks for a valid PageRank from multiple datacenters, checks PageRank with and without “www”, displays number of backlinks from multiple search engines, alexa ranking, DMOZ links, and it is 100% free.

AIM Screen Name Finder and Checker Site is new and cool.

Friday 23 February 2007 @ 2:44 pm

AIM Checker provides you with a unique service that’ll help you find your buddies. They have a feature in the works that allows you to upload your who buddylist to the site and that makes your buddies searchable in the database.

So how does it work?

Well, let’s say you wanted to join everyone’s favorite affiliate network, XY7.COM

You knew my screenname had xy7 in it, but you could not think of the rest and you couldn’t even remember where you originally saw the screenname. Well, if you go to AIMChecker.com and type “xy7″ into the search, it’ll bring up my screenname.

Or, let’s say an ex that you are trying to get back together with suddenly goes offline while you are chatting with her. Did she block you or just sign off? Well, if you go to AIMChecker.com and type her screenname in, it will show you if she’s really online or not. If she is, then you know that she blocked you and you can take the next step (stalking her maybe? ).

Anyway, you get the idea. The service has already come quite popular:

Total Image Status Views: 1,184,555
Total Screennames Found: 4,537
