I can’t believe this but Cadbury has taken legal action against 4 other baby confectionary companies for using purple. Their claim was that they and purple are ONE in the chocolate business and no one else may use the colour.
In contradiction to this, they have done a private deal with MASSIVE confectioner Nestles,
permitting them to use the colour purple.
Why the double standard? Beats me, but it seems that if you are hardworking privately owned company you are the target of multinationals well funded legal departments.
Darrel Lea whipped their Cadbury butts into a new chocolate treat called - big suckers.
The hilarious thing is that Darrell Lea wasn’t even worked into a lather over using purple - and now use blue - but now have the legal right in the supreme court - to use purple in their wrappings at will.
And it seems that any other confectioner can now use purple at will.
Maybe Cadbury owns some other colours - but Cadbury you are wasting my legal system
with your frivolity - colours are not anyones property but are shared by all - get real.
